Fished behind latimers last night from about 10.30pm-2.30am. First time fishing down there and I was planning on fishing off the steel, but when I got down there it was too dark so I couldn't really work the place out so just fished off the beach.
It was fish every cast, but just tiddlers though. Tiny coley and codling, and my biggest fish all night was a 23cm flounder, had about 12 fish altogether.
Just used a 2 hook flapper with size 2 hooks all night, with live lugworm. At one point I did have something a lot heavier on the line but lost it half way in.
I'll have to go down in daylight and low tide sometime to have a look at the marks.
