Headed to the rocks at Whitburn at high tide to fish it out, but sea was far too big couldn't hold the bottom with 7 oz leads. So headed to seaburn beach at the north end and had 4 codling all size. First one was bang on 35cm then the other 3 were between 1 1/2lb and 1 3/4lb. Three were lip hooked and went back but one was a little to greedy and swallowed the hook deep. Was hoping for somthing a little better and sure they will be some good fish this weekend but just small stuff for me. Was a few on the beach who also had fish not sure of size tho. Baits used yellows, blacks, razor, squid, mussel and macki.
