surprised you had one out with it being flat, let alone a good one! was there few days ago when there was a perfect sea on for the beach and didn't even get a touch in 4 hours. a 5lb+ fish is my goal this winter as well

There was a few lads fishin who didnt even get a bite so i know whitleys been slow so far mate!!! I was jus in the right spot this time!!! There was about a one foot surf so not totally flat but still not much movement but i got the tide bang on right!!! I hope we both get our 5lbers mate!!!

was down whitley this morning to check the gulleys. bloody hell it's so shallow! there was rocks and kelp showing way out, no wonder it (normally) only fishes when the conditions are spot on, also i realised ive still been casting over the gulleys, even when i was dropping it short

Thanks lads!!! I fish the gullies now mate cause as ya knw yourself they hold the fish!!! But gettin snagged 90% of the times a gutter lol!!! Big seas forecast this week :-D!!!
