Here's the result from today's open match fished around Beadnell:
1st - Steve Williams, 5 fish for 9lb 2oz
2nd - Chris Stringer, 2 fish for 5lb 2oz
3rd - Peter Stewart, 1 fish for 3lb 9oz
Heaviest fish was a tie, with Peter Stewart having 1 codling 3-9 & Chris Stringer a wrasse the same weight.
Overall, the top three so far are:
1st - Steve Williams, 15lb 14oz
2nd - Andy Grief, 14lb 15.75 oz
3rd - Neil Cutler, 8lb 4oz
the heaviest fish so far is still Andy Grief's codling of 4lb 5oz.
Next match meet Newton, Sunday Aug 9th at 9 am, fishing 10-2pm.
