With mate fished 7pm - 10pm various marks on the flood. Bad sign, fri night and not another angler on the beach. Sea dead flat. used lug, rag, and razor.
Mate caught a very small flattie, I never had a bite bait coming back untouched.
On a positive note sky was clear so spent a lot of time star and moon gazing with binos.
seriously considering selling fishing gear and buying a telescope as its more fun.

Havent been there for years, might go there to see these heavenly bodies, then I won,t have to sell my fishing gear. Whitley Bay is closer and I hear you can get really close to the heavenly bodies there as well

Proberly caught using a tiddler and charm and 50 squid to fill it up !!!
