fished the beach in front of the ramp that leads down from the spanish city , 3 hour's down to low water using up the last of yesterdays worms & muscle 2nd cast slack line resulting in a 2 lb 3 oz codling . (my 1st of 209 :) lost something in the surf a little later on then feed the crab's till the bait ran out . quite a few headlamps too the left off me ,was it anyone on this forum ? and did you get anything

There was a few lads fishing the last of the Whitley Opens along Wilkies / Saltsies, most had a few fish. Best fish of the night was about 8 1/2 lb from Hartley Island. I started on Blyth Beach (middle toilet area) & had not a sniff for 1 1/2 hours, so moved onto the Pipe skeers at Whitley & only had one tiny bite. Most people had something to weigh in, so I guess I made the wrong choices tonight!:(

We came down that end about 11 after fishing Tynemouth, me and me mate only stayed about 30 minutes or so, couple of lads we know stayed a bit longer. We didn't get owt.
