Whitley Beach 26th Oct

I fished Whitley beach tonight, alongside all the other anglers in the area. It was busy with more fisherman than fish.
First cast brought a good bite, second cast resulted in a slack-liner from a 2lb codling, then it went quiet as the tide turned. A lad fishing the North Skeer looked to have a better fish.
After the turn, the wind and weed showed up and when the sleet and hail started most people packed up.
Lug took the fish which was stuffed with a peeler and shrimps.

i was one of the others there,between the cafe and big bay,lad next to me pulled in a small codling,there was loads fishing big bay,blank for me but goin back tomorrow again

it might have been me with the better one, it was 6 lb 4oz, along with a just sizeable one. it was very quiet for the conditions, it looked perfect.

Yeh I spoke to u as you left mate I got one bout 40cm nd then weeded out me son blanked it looked spot on as well anyways bsck out tonight

I thought there would be more fish around, as everyone has commented, the conditions looked good.
