whitley open

Just fished Church Point, Newbiggin for the Whitley Open, used lug, razor and mussel for the bait. The sea was as flat as a ballerina's chest and not a single fish showed.

Just wondering if anybody else fished today and how they faired up?

ya not alone cod basher did,nt fish the open went up to colour nose point area bit swell nice deep water but no fish not a bite , jamcod

Was out at Druridge with the mutts this morning, seen lots of people along Newbiggin, Cresswell and a few on the beach at Druridge.. Can't say as we noticed anyone winding in excitedly.....
