What's Whitley bay like this time of year?

Don't think it will be too clever mate, would fancy St. Marys more, but it could be a bit early for that. Few fish on the piers from all accounts.

The pubs get really busy around the bank holidays mate but its a bit of a run down old seaside town currently with a bit of redevelopment on the go.....
