As I don\'t know many on this site I just wanted to see if I knew more people than I can tell from your tags. My full name\'s Darren McGlen and I lived in South Shields for 31 years until I moved to Whitburn last year. Do people put their proper names on the board?

I am my Grandad, I post under his name as he is dead so cannot be sued or tracked down and beaten up. Never liked him anyway :D

Meant to say yesterday Darren, have a look in the \"Nesa Tyne Challenge Trophy\" under the south team you will see quite a few of the lads names in there.

Jim.

Shields lad - born & bred and still living & working here.

The \"Westoe Netty\" featured in Bob Olleys\' painting used to be at the corner of Westoe Road and Chichester Road (beside the former Westoe bridges).

he was a talented bloke , ive also got other pictures he did like the rugby one and the seaside one. theyre all good.
me fatha used to sell all his work from an arts & crafts stall at the garden festival .

The picture of \"westoe netty with a little kid **** ing on a blokes leg while hes reading the graffiti\" used to actually be on the wall in westoe netty - presumably so you could re-inact the picture and p*** on a blokes leg as you\'re reading it. :D

I did get that locking reel seat jimmy mate. Went for the Abu as it seemed to be the one everyone preferred.

Might be wrong, but I think the picture was on the wall of the old underground toilets on Sunderland Road (beside the pelican crossing at Westoe roundabout).
