After having a cracking session last night I tried to repeat it today - it wasn't to be, got out the piers and turned round almost immediately due to horizontal rain and a horrible sea.

Anyway now that is out of the way here is the report. Pete and I got to our first wreck around 3pm, we were met with a lovely sea (which just got better and better), and were into fish from the off...

Shads and sidewinders did the damage on long traces with a slow retrieve...

The sea got better and the fish kept coming...

Pete also pulled in the first poor cod I have ever seen, it weighed in at a modest 3 ounces!

We had around 30 fish and kept 3 for the pot. The fish continued to play until 9.30pm when we headed in to a lovely sunset...

Got in around 9:45pm to see Micks 26lber! What a fish!

A fantastic afternoon and evenings fishing. Lets hope there are plenty more to come....

Tight lines.

I'm glad the sea went back flat for you David , it was getting a bit blustery as you were on your way out , but from those pics it was as good as in the morning , loads of fish out there eh?:D

Super report, and the pics show what a great day out there it was. Like the pic of a cod in the water. Well done lads.
