wen it say's on a rod 5oz _ 7oz duz that mean you can cast a 7oz sinker and the bait on or u have to cast 6oz sinker with 1oz ov the bait me and a friend has been arguing about this answer anyone

Surely it must mean sinker weight, cos when a rod is under compression, the :g: forces created will be a lot heavier than 7ozs and the bait weight will be negligible:red:
