Wine and ebay don't mix!!

Being a pernickety bugger I have been through numerous boat reels without ever being happy with any I have used, so I decided to get a Shimano. Lynn did advise that I sell my Penn and Diawa first, but I was having none of it.

Anyway I kept getting outbid on Shimano charter specials on ebay and last night I was in for a 2000LD. After a few wines I decided I wasn't going to win the 2000LD, so on the spur of the moment I took a "buy now" option on a Shimano Triton and gave up on the charter special.

I was a happy bunny and even this morning I was pleased with my purchase. Off we went to Kayos for a Miss Saigon rehearsal. Came home and yes you have guessed it...................I won the charter special bid!!

So I now have 2 Shimanos plus a Diawa and a Penn boat reels!! £100 plus lighter, 3 reels too many and Lynn giving me grief.

Yer, mate of mine ordered a 18' Penn rod when he was rat arsed and pised out of his skull one new years eve, couldn't remember what he'd done until the package was delivered the day after new years day::)

a have been warned, and keith b will prob's never speak to me again.

al still stand up for meself.
 
There's been a few drunken purchases on eBay from me! One of those expensive purchases which you really want, but wouldn't pay for when sober.
 
I think drink fuelled purchases are quite special, rather like Christmas morning when you were younger, :)

Aye, that email notification which says "thank you for your payment of ££££s"

Suddenly it all comes flooding back
 
14 Star Trek models currently residing in my household due to alcohol+ebay, selling them thru Gumtree to some fella in Sunderland hopefully :D
