Took a day off for my 50th and fished witton today.
Used a Greys 10ft, GRXI that Sheila got me for my birthday.
Plenty fish moving, took my first about 10 am, on a black hopper. 2anahalf pound.
Fish seemed to die off after 11 when it got sunny, took another about 11.30. on a jellycord buzzer.Lost one at the net.

breeze got up about 1pm, decided to switch to Haswells Olive, the old fellas pattern. between 1 and 4-30, I released 6, lost 4, kept 2. Had several takes.and 3 follows to the shallows.
fishing an intermediate, retreiving as soon as the line hit the water. Fish feeding just sub surface.
Can only say,absolutely perfect day.

I promised some flies to someone, wiped my PMs, who was it>>
Lives near Fishburn?
So how do I get the pics to show in the post??

Simon, PM me your address again, and the only way youll become proficient is by going mate.
No need to book. Its on the A68 nearfir tree. If youre travelling south, its immediately before the Wear, on your right. If travelling North, Immediately after, on Left, sharp turn, so look out for it.
