Jeez but it was hard work. Not too windy, but for some reason there werent a lot of fish taken. I had two, for 5Lb, lost 2, Briz never had a touch. Micky had one of 2 anahalf, and one of 4Lb on a suspender buzzer on the bottom lake.
One guy returned 6 by lunchtime, all on a black tadder.
I tried out a new line, me and Briz got one each on a deal. fast sinker with 12 Ft of floating tip, sliced through the wind, and adds a good 5 yards on a cast.
Main line sinks, and tip floats about 2 ft of bottom.
Had a wee run in with the bailiff, as Id inadvertantly fillled in a sporting ticket, yet I had fish. Took me 15 mins to persuade him to look at the envelope and see Id paid £21. Still, just doing his job.

Thought you would have had a good day yesterday as the conditions up at Ashigton were perfect overcast, warm for most of the day, didn't get out myself, wished i had instead of watching the F1 race.
