Here’s a collection of shots from the weekend, taken with the new action camera. A bit of fishing combined with putting the camera through its paces. Overall I’m happy with it; the colour balance and contrast may not be as good as a Gopro, but better than expected from a cheap, waterproof HD camera.
Mine came from China via ebay number 281564002852 and is selling for £29 with an 8gb SD card. I tried three drops down to a depth of 45~50ft, where the housing kept the camera dry but the water proved to be too murky to get any pictures, even 3 when just feet off the bottom.
As you will spot from the video edits, I still have a lot to learn about using it well to make a decent video.
And the fishing was pretty good too
