We locked out at 16:30, expecting to fish until it was dark, trying daylights and frozen peeler in the mucky water. After trying a four close in wrecks and the hard ground at Cullercoats we called it day by 7PM. Result

Not a bad day to be at sea but I don’t know where the fish, or other boats were.

Mackeral feathering for ducks.

There was a large, gentle swell that looked to have dropped a little since this morning. When we came in, the wind was picking up and putting a chop on top of the swell.

Out for a duck. Things have slowed right down now Kevin Yeh, where were all the boats yesterday (Sat), driving along from Tynemouth to Whitley, and not a small fishing craft in sight on a nice calm windless day having said that, I was in the car, not the boat
