Wrasse mark advice

Eyemouth. Lol. Either that or any of the local rough marks where the is a bit of deep water will chuck a few out aswell. Cullercoats, st Mary's etc....

cheers lads, are they a summer species only? Anyone else with any marks lads will be appreciated

Think wrasse are territorial fish mate so should be present all year around. Don't often hear of them being caught though during winter. Give it a go... Only one way to find out! Defo seem to show more in the catch reports though come summer

St Mary's Island is one of the more consistent shots for wrasse locally. Go on a few hours before high and fish crisps a few hours up and down.

you may hear of the odd rare one in the colder months but they prefer warmer clear water. you'll have a far better chance through the summer.

as has been said st mary's or if you r prepared 2 travel m8 no better place than st abbs, i ve had a few wrasse 5lb+ with many going around the 4-5lb mark on light gear also some cracking pollock.

As above, st Mary's, also had some crackers of Hartley Island last summer (watch it as you need a big tide and can get cut off very easily).
