Well i dont know his secret bait yet ;) but i think Dave had plenty with him today! We launched about 9.30am for a few hours fishing from blyth to an inshore wreck and dave was straight in to the codling he had about 12 altogether ranging from about 2lb to 5lb :o
i even tied off the front of his yak but could only manage 2 coalfish. another angler called keith joined us but had nothing, only dave kept the fish coming in. keith moved off to fish another wreck further out.
Here are a few pics from today!

I bet it's fun but with a lot to think of at the same time ,I remember seeing Tim out on his kayak and I thought how well organised everything was with every space used to the best effect ...

I take my hat off to the lads that do it .

What a buzz you must get when you hook your first fish ...and then when it gets to the surface you must think " right then how do I stay stable while unhooking the fish and having to store it as well "

Hi Steve
You will be supprised how stable the sit on top kayaks are! plenty storage! and great fun as long as all the relevant safety gear is carried. i try to fish with as many yakers as i can(safety in numbers)
