But it is a rod that has been cast 300 yards on the field and will handle pretty much anything the north east coast will throw at it...

wouldnt use one on a cliff i have one and rate them clean to mixed ground wouldnt fish rough ground with it

Their light strong rods great to cast my mate uses his for everything he's had cod to 8lb off the rocks and 6lb off the cliffs this winter no problem at all.

Fished heavy ground all over northumberland with one and it pulled them in a piece of p@ss.

One of the best mixed ground rods about mate. As said not really suited to the really roughly stuff but will fish most marks this way really well. Well worth getting your heads on one

Just to echo the above,cracking rods,like stuart said will chuck a lead a very long way.
Designed 4 clean,mxd ground and fishing at range(lovely tip on e'm)but will handle some punishment(very capable rods)but not like the zeteques/m427's which imo r more suited to the ruff(got a m427 meself).All depends wot u want from a rod,the m4's r light n very powerfull with a sweet tip(not a poker)Hope my two pennath helps lol
