Zziplex Info Req

I\'ve got the chance of a Zziplex Quatro or Quatra off a friend of the family,i think it was his brother\'s who died a few months ago.He lives in Devon so i\'ve only got a brief description of it,all i know is that its rung for a multiplier and is a 12 footer,he say\'s it was a good rod when it was new,he said he does\'nt want any money for it.I won\'t get to see it until my brother brings it up in a few weeks time,neither my brother or the chap that has the rod are fishermen and i don\'t want to hassle him since he is giving it away free. I\'ve done a bit of research myself and can\'t find anything about it,i\'am guessing it must be a few years old unless the name is wrong.
So any information about the rod would be gladly received

If my memory serves me well , the rod was developed by Neil Mckellow with zzipplex for mainly casting . ( Might be mistaken again , but I think he took some records on ot ) . They made two types , one for tournament work , very stiff , and a fishing version also pretty stiff . They were all the rage I guess about late 80\'s.
