zziplex primo synchro

Just been looking on fleabay and i've seen something for sale i didn't think existed.Somebody has advertised for sale, a Primo Synchro with a 5 foot butt and an 8 foot tip.I thought all synchro butts were 6 foot, certainly all the ones i've seen are.Would anyone care to enlighten me on this mythical tool?

Yes Brian as far as I know 6ft butt 7ft 6in tip unless it's the xl version which has a 7ft butt with the 7ft 6in tip

Not sure what length each section is but the rod should be 13ft2 this is the problem with zziolex rods alot are custom built

And a lot of people sell other rods with zziplex decals on claiming they are zippies

As Phil says, loads are custom made which makes checking them to be genuine a right royal pain in the neck.

Love my Synchro, as said above it's a 13' 2" rod with a 6' but and a 7'6" tip section so either the seller can't measure properly or there is something well dodgy about the rod...

Zziplex do a txl version as well and in the past people have rang tc up and asked for something not on the shelf so to speak and the gentleman he was he would do.
