Zziplex Zetec

Thinking about buying a Zziplex Zetec or Zetec EVO, anybody had/got one? what they like for fishing the kelp?

ive used a zetec a couple of times there a well stiff rod for the kelp quite a thick blank ..

i had a standard Zeteque Mate.. very strong rod and a better option than a TT-R in my book for fishing.. handles 8 ounce with ease and still a decent casting rod. Still has that nice Zziplex feel.

I do personally prefere the Bullet though... nearly as strong but a lot better rod for casting and sensitvity.

But if your looking for something that could pull the plug from the bottom of the sea, its the rod for you!.

i have a zetec cant fault it ,whats the difference between zetec and the zetec evo cheers

Evo is a tad stronger.. made with a different carbon...

the zetec is the only ziplex for the kelp the rest are soft rods ideal for casting
