21st October ???? Can`t be, still cant get to fish seriously for the vast amounts of Mackerel over the wrecks ..... still it could be worse.

LOL just a token run out with a friend and his young `un today , as already stated, loads of mackerel. Also Loads of coalies all over the wrecks.

Great fishing when your just there for a run out and a laugh, with the bag of mackerel a bonus at the end.

Went to St Marys to meet up with John in Phoenix and had a great time there as well, not a lot to bring back but as usual great fishing. Lots of BIG BIG scotchies around that produce a good fight even if you do put them back at the end of it. and of course the odd codling for the pan.

Surprise catch of the day was the following (at St Marys) which felt like a good cod on the haul up.

LOL a line caught Little Lobby which was intent on NOT letting go of my squid bait and fought hard and long to hold onto it ...... still it`s away back down now to grow a little bit bigger ...... good luck young lobby see you when your older.





Good to see John out in his brand new Arvor - "Phoenix" look forward to organising a proper fishing trip soon and maybe a few comps again.

off up to ardnamurchan for a week tonight, determined to beat the bairns monster pollock from last october. they're still getting mackeral off the rocks up there by all accounts
