    I would recommend for starting out pick up a Luck Craft Sammy for a surface lure and a Tackle House Feed SHallow for a shallow diving lure. That will be enough to get you started.

        New to the site so just reading through some of the threads so forgive me for visiting ,some old ones. Not to many lures mentioned .The Maria chase bw silver holo is always worth having.. not to pricey and works well. Took loads of fish on it. The more worn it gets the better it works . Confidence for me is something you will gain as you catch fish . If u can travel think about visiting a power station out let (not for the purist) but getting a few fish under the belt will help your confidence
