Sorry for the delay, but needed to soak up some rays in Egypt. Been getting some stick for not posting the result, but dont know why.

9 Hardy soles fished on Sun between 1630hrs and 2030hrs at the British Airways Carpark on the North side of the Tyne.
Compatition was on a catch and release, anything over 18cms with the scoring based on the SAMF scoring chart with species/length converted to points.
A bright day with little wind and an incoming tide.

    1st Gorden Stuart 10 fish for 133pts
2nd Mick Dunn 3 fish for 85pts(longest fish 37cm flounder)
    3rdMartin Willis 6 fish for 79pts
    4th Les Reay 4 fish for 66pts
    5th Jason Poole 6 fish for 62pts
6th Rob Pollard 5 fish for 59 pts
    7th Ian Ainsley 7 fish for 51pts
    8th Derrick Sirret 1 fish 40pts
    9th Billy Huscroft 2 fish 28pts

Before my friends from Northumbria give me any abuse, I had seven fish, six of which were eels which get you crap points and I was doing the measuring, but if anyone else care to come up with any more excuses for me, then please do.
Most fish were taken on rag and bluey, so my fresh peeler wasnt much good(thats another excuse)

chut i caught the big flounder on the peeler which i bought off you for peanuts.
Thanks for showing me an excellent spot near to my home.

    Mick.

RATTY, as if anyone would abuse you......c'mon how low do you think people would stoop. I hope none of the eels made a right mess of your rigs as I know it is hard for you tying rigs with 6 fingers on each hand. Good luck for the rest of the season and hope you manage to catch a fish that counts lots of points. All the very best.
A bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.
