lads reccomendding rock marks advise taking plenty of leads . If the ''tackle hungry'' rock mark just needs a shortish lob to get to the fish then why not make some concrete sinkers for virtually nowt. Pound shop polystyrene cups, (a shed load in a pack for guess how much) A small bag of fast drying concrete mix for just over 2 quid at Wicks . Wire to make loops... mix enough concrete to fill 3 cups ..fill the cups to required level... your choice..be quick tho, it sets fast. turn the filled cups upside down and push the loops thru the bottom of the cups into the concrete.... leave for at least 30mins or till set like rock. ...break cups away.. these weights are fine for shortish casts but they are lighter in the water than lead ..... a 4oz concrete weight will only be the same as about a 2 oz lead in the sea. However because its going into rocks and inevitably going to get happed up in any case, it dosen't matter. use with a rotten bottom... cheaper by far than £1 or 2 for a lead
