After several attempts to get out on a boat this year ( all cancelled due to the windy summer and high tides ) I was wondering how seasonal boat angling is ?
I know with Autumn / Winter approaching from the shore species like mackerel vanish and hopefully some nice sized cod move closer in. How does this affect boat angling, can bigger cod be caught closer in over rough ground ? Do many boats take bookings over the colder months ? And if so any boats around North East you would recommend. I admit to being quite jealous after seeing some of the excellent catch reports, with pics, from other boats who didnt take much notice of a 'high Tide' but still took a gamble that payed with some great catches.
Sorry for all the questions / rambling on, just wanted to know whether to put my boat gear away until next year.
Cheers all
