Fish the island over high water. Lovely night once the rain had stopped. Managed a couple of coalies and a rockling, me mate also got 2 coalies.
sea was flat calm. Hope these strong winds forecast stir things up abit.
Going to try the stone steps on Thursady, hopefully get some shelter from the cliff from the westerly wind.

Westerlies useually flatten the sea off. Regardless of the strength. :/ we need north east winds

Yeah i know but with 25mph winds and upto 50mph gusts, along with the 3m swells. It should stir things up a little
Westerlies forecast all week, no easterlies in sight.

And conveniently the wind is gusting our gear into the sea But that does sound appealing Might be out this weekend then

everytime i check MSW it changes every couple of hours but am sure big sea forcasted for weekend surely

I would love to know how Magic seaweed can say how big the swell is going to be in a weeks time.Last winter they were forcasting 30ft swells at one time,thats a fecking Tsunami.
The Met office can,t even forcast the wind exactly that far ahead and thats where all the other weather sites get there forcasts from..
I would have more faith in Mistic Meg than magic seaweed.
This is the met office pressure chart forcast for the next few days,it all depends which way this low pressure travels that will dictate the sea state.
