I really want to start catching more bass from the north east coasts.I know (well think i know) the correct tacktics, baits ect but not got a great deal marks and state of tides wise.

Come on lads, i know alot of marks for bass but feel free to psot your fav bass mark and what state of tide you caught there.

Dont worry all bas will be returned alive.

:D well there\'s bass knocking about..8lb\'er caught off Blyth beach last week. which bit of beach not sure.. for bass..just a nice sort of surf not usually a heavy sea...Blyth beach..mm stublies...Creswell beach 2 hours to the top of the tide pllus 1 down..had some shoaling bass last week on whitley beach, down the slope in front of the white dome.

If anybody has any suggestions for Richy re. good Bass marks, can they please contact him via e-mail or PM.

As Mark has intimated (and others previously), you don\'t know who\'s looking in on here and what USED to be a good Bass mark could soon become a netters paradise.

Don\'t think you can give anything away about catching bass off the sands around the Tyne. Sometimes they\'re there and sometimes they\'re not. If someone is netting they take their chance (of catching and getting caught) just like us shore anglers do of catching. I have no problem in saying I have caught about 6 bass on Tynemouth beach from all marks except the Bottom of the Stairs and the Bathing Pool Corner but thats over the last 4 years....and most have been caught on the flood when I would normally be moving elsewhere..... so thats not very helpful either. I think the bass do it to us on purpose...AND LONG MAY IT LAST

I will never post about Bass on here again Richy. Don\'t mind sharing info with regulars on here by e-mail. I was told a certain local from round Newbiggin was trawling certain beaches no more than 150 yards from the shore. Can\'t say it\'s true cos I didn\'t see him but he won\'t get the chance to do it from my posts again. I only hope the pratt reads this or more likely someone reads it to him.

Jim.

Got to agree with TC and Jim best keep it to our selves, had some smashing pm\'s off lads from Scotland who shared there stories and knowledge, suggest we do like wise, shame its come to this but better save than sorry.

i was talking to my mate last week about bass ,he said its beeing policed now more than ever ,the trawlers as well,i know the fisherys protection is stamping down as well ,so be aware defra is watching and they can take your gear off you ,including your transport

:D mmm interesting I do know that they are very strict on the bass size, people have been caught with undersized bass here when the hpt water pipe was in action..I see the patrol car out quiet often, with his camera and binocc\'s...anyhow shall just have to keep these thing to myself then :D :D
