    It’s with great sadness I am letting this site and it’s members know my dear husband David passed away this morning after a heart attack. He spent so much time on this site and his love of sea fishing has brought him so much happiness over the years. Thank you to those of you who have enriched his life over the years. Hug your loved ones close tonight.

    I was wondering if you knew anywhere I might get a copy of your book? I'm aware you've sold out, I was hoping you knew of somewhere or someone who may have a surplus copy?

    Yes I’m well. Still working part time, though this will be my last year. Was up at Coldingham in July for a week but haven’t been fishing since. Sorry, mate, but I don’t have any copies for you. There was one on eBay a couple of months ago that went for £20. I was in conversation on NESA with a guy called mOOnraker who said he worked a lot with Amazon and knew how to turn the book into an ebook, but he suddenly disappeared from the board in July and hasn’t reappeared since. Will keep my eye open for one and drop you a line if I spot anything. Have a good Christmas.

    Hi Reg,
    Think you’re right. Nobody seems to want advice any more, though I saw your comments regarding SS. Only 70 contributing members says it all. Hope you are all well and staying safe. Rod keeps telling me he’s going down but I suspect he won’t, especially in the dark. Can’t see me getting up this winter. Looking to get a week in the Lakes in the New Year. Might manage a few lakes and the odd top. Has St Cyrus been and gone or is it still to come?

    Hi Reg - yes it went for £20 - I suppose if that’s the only way you can get hold of a copy then that’s what you do. Have had a number of people asking about the book since it sold out so there must be a few keeping their eyes open.
    Hope you and the wife and the dog are well. Might be able to get up next month for a few days. Would be nice to wet a line again.

    David I`ve signed up, keep up the good work. Can I pick your brains, on flat water would you prefer to fish the lobster pots or sharpness. I have had fish at both but struggle at the pots unless there`s a dying sea, whats your thoughts. Many thanks John
