hi lads and lasses just looking for some help please,,,now no laughing when you read this mind i dropped my phone down the toilet this morn and was not too pleased as i had just shook the dew off the lilly just before the thing hit the water.i thought i was insured but im not cos i had not registered my phone with the bank witch i thought was done automaticaly but its not.so me being a bit cunning i thought why not register it now trouble is i need an IMEI NUMBER off my phone and i cant get it cos i cant switch the bloody thing on and to get the number i need to type in*#06# .if some one has an sony ericsson v600i could you please try it for me.i dont know if all phones have different numbers or if its just the number for the model thanks in advance if you can help

Is it not written on the phone somewhere? behind battery maybe?

It may also be on the box if you still have it.
