Clothing wise on boats in winter for warmth and safety. If its a floatation suit do you still don a lifejacket as well or not. Im looking for some ideas to drop hints to my missis with xmas coming up.

Hey Nosole ,sorry about that ,most people I know just wear a floatation suit mate ,you can buy some with extra bouyancy if you'd feel safer.

Anyway whats with the right and the left (or dare I say stbd and port) monacles, is there some kind of political differences here, or is it a class status thing, or do you just have Pi55 poor eyesight in different eyes ...................... ;) ;)
oops I remember now its when I poked yous in the eye to clean up faster :) :) :) lol

(rather unsurprisingly you get some very interesting results when you google "whipping sailors" :o;):D)

Don't get a floation suit for the boat m8 - couple of reasons

  1. You'll look like a tit
  2. It's like wearing a huge hard rubber suit while walking down the street in case a car knocks you over
Good bad weather gear is needed, don't worry about falling in - Wear a lifejacket, some of them are thinner and lighter than the chain our lass bought me when I got out last year, proper summer wreck fishing your up and down like a dafty, constantly on the go. Go for goretex or anything made out of pure gold (Expensive but a good conversation point if the fish aren't biting)
