FINISHED my essay....:D

BUT I could have made my life a whole lot easier by not leaving it until the last minute and prob' put myself in a better position to submit a better piece of work

I reckon it's a pass - but it's pretty flimsy in terms of substance :red:

Any young 'uns out there - DON'T LEAVE HOMEWORK UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE...I could have prob gone fishing these last few days if I hadn't:rolleyes:

...now, where's my rod

Well Done you big Oaf :D and very good advice.

I leave everything to the last minute - I'll sit for hours desperate for a pee pee la la and only go when my face turns yellow and I can't stand up straight. I wait until my nostril hairs get dreadlocked and catch in my teeth before getting our lass to sort them out. I procrastinate at every available opportunity :o

Did my HNC in the same way - left everything until the last...but that was at Newcastle College where they spoon fed us the end result to a large degree. Now at Northumbria Uni' where the standards and expectations are SOOOO much higher....Just re-read it...what a load of pish - oh well too late now LOL

Another piece of advice....DO ALL YOUR SCHOOLING WHEN YOU ARE YOUNGER...saves you having to play catch up later in life - should you be so inclined - as not everybody wants to achieve greatness or be at the top of the tree ;)

Best of luck with your result Tony, I am sometimes the same though. SWMBO is the opposite, if it must be done it must be done now. This can be very annoying at times when I am busy doing something in the kitchen and in she comes with all barrels blazing. I tend now just to drop whatever I am doing and let her get on with it until she realises she was getting in the way and asks "What's the matter". The obvious answer to avoid a week of grief is "Nowt pet just finish what you are doing", She still gans in the huff but not as much if I had lit up in the first place.

As far as are you going to do THAT today goes, it is usually met with a "I will see how I feel" as it really gets on my nerves being told as much as it gets on her nerves me not doing it in the first place lmao.

A happy medium is usually reached now, I go into the kitchen and she usually doesn't lol.

Jim.

Cheers Jim, Ell...

Gonna stick this year out and see how well I pass/fail...if I pass I'll carry on to the degree year, If I fail I'll bow out for a year and poss go back to it later

Anyways - it's well past my bedtime for a school night

Cheers

Tony ;):)

Catch you later Tony, get that rod out and get some practice in. I will be wanting some tips if I am allowed to fish on 5th January ;).

Jim.

Hmmm, you're not going to like this but as someone who sets homework and has handed in a trillion assessments I thrive on the "it's got to be in tomorrow" syndrome. Any earlier and I slob about looking at it and poking it with a bitten finger nail (rather bite it than type with it). Like yours Jim, the missus hates me for it. As I type all the presents are bought, wrapped, labelled and boxed up ......................except for hers from me...............so she's pacing up and down and moaning and, well you know the rest. It'll get done ..............sometime lol.
