fished last night from 6.40pm ,gets down and sets up then realised i had left the other container in the house ,which had me lug and other bits of baits,i already went back to the house once lol to get me spare headlamp ,only bait i had in another container was mussle and macky ,i wasnt gonna drive all the way home for it so i just used what i had ,and ended up with 2 codling my guess 2lb each both on mussle

had a few takes but missed them really should of walked off with about half a dozen counting the missed and lost ones ,i rapped up at about midnight and headed for home.

theres always sommit i forget on a fishing trip whats your favourite forgotten gear ,mines got to be a cloth but in this case me bait lol

Forgotten rod

Forgotten rod

A mate of mine once forgot his rod but that was after he fished, he propped it up on a wall just next to the car near Tynemouth pier, didn't realise till he got home (Consett) he dropped me off and as he got my rod out of the car he said "Oh golly gosh I appear to have forgotten my trusty rod" (that's the printable version) he turned straight round and went back to Tynemouth only to find it had vanished. That was about 20 year ago, he's never fished since!
