tele's widescreen, LCD, PLASMA

Alan you'll not even notice the size after a few days ,mine just seems normal now , we went to the outlaws for tea the other day and their 28 inch telly looked like a portable .

haha yeah, similar here steve. I passed on my previous "Widscreen" normal TV to my Mother. Now every time I go see it I cant believe how "Tiny" it looks.
When I first go my present 39 inch i thought for the first day or so OMG :o, but as you say you get used to it real quick and wonder how ever you did without.

On Sky Sports on HD if you get close to the screen it doesn`t blurr or pixelate and you can look for people you know where they sit and make out faces ........ :)

plus £115 for only three years gaurantee, still like the Philips in John Lewis Steve, gets good reviews. Going to have a good measure up tomorrow and see where it would go best. Then only one problem, money, after South Africa, skint.

I've got a money tin at work (I kid you not) whereby I'm sticking in money each week...I'm already up to a hundred odd quid after just a couple of months...I'm hoping by Chrimbo I'll be able to afford a better TV (currently got a CRT type job which weighs a ton) An LCD, HD jobby will do me - about 32"...they're going for about £500 at most

On what basis are you sticking money in? Is it an everytime you say a swear word, not have a fag, be nice to an old lady, crack one off etc. or is it just a money in the tin? Is it change you put in.

I want one!

Well as I have tourettes, don't smoke and...the other one :red: my tin should be full by next week :o:D

The premise was intially a mere £10 a month until christmas...but that would only bag me £100 odd quid...I've changed it to £40 a month...I'd waste that much anyway on other stuff

Mines a Superman Money tin...

I'll have to use a tin opener to open it tho'...it's the way forward , forget ISAs and the like - we're heading for a global recession anyway

back to the drawing board, width 1 cm to much for the alcove, that is unless we re arrange the room, or knock down the old chimney breast.
