Me and bob were fishing Sunday not a bad day we took 53 cod out biggest was 9 pounds bait we used blacks mussel and mackerel using long traces about 5 foot long which keeps the bait on the bottom cheers Jeff

You could try an abu 7 not a bad reel and for fifty quid you can buy a new one mate good luck. jeff
