out to wet the line for a bit with the old man if anyone has any good spots to post please dont be afraid to do so lol, any advice will be well appreciated thanks..

Why not try the first gate at shields pier? it generally good ground with the odd snag about, and recently a friend of mine (waco) has been doing well from that area with some good size plaice being cort

Ragworm fishes best, especially if tipped off with a bit squid strip or crab. i usually use a clipped down pully wishbone rig, acompanied with size 1 or 1/0 aberdeens and lots of coloured beads, which are good attractors for plaice.

Other possible species are codling, whiting, flounder, dabs, coalie and mackerel as the summer kicks into gear.
