set off at 5am today fished the same wreck were aye lost rod real on saturday:( hit about 13 coley's left there went out about 4m fish a few wrecks nothing showing so headed up to light house.while me pal was lying in the cab probably wishing he hadn't come 4 the spewing he was doing:D:D:D aye dropped a line after half an hour we started catching' udersized cod to start with then some decent cod 7 in all we decided to head back to the fist wreck seen fish on the finder on the way stopped and dropped a line coley second drop mackral that was it. got back to 1st wreck after a 5 minutes or so me line went heavy started reeling in looked up we were 20ft or so off a pot :confused:it kept coming in looked over the side and could not believe my eyes:eek: it was only the rod and reel a had lost over the side on saturday whats the chances ov that av never laught so much nothing else caught after that good end to the day;)

A spot on report m8 and its a chance in a million of you getting your rod and reel back just like that but i bet it made your day so well done.:D:D:D
 
Was there not a fish on as well:rolleyes::D Great result, I would either strip the reel down, or give it a soak in fresh water overnight, then spray with WD40 everywhere.
