Fished out of Whitby today on the Charisma with Jim and a few of the lads, was almost perfect conditions for it sunny, no wind not much swell but fishing was hard. Plenty mackerel and whiting taking anything you would drop down, muppets, daylights, hokkai’s but we were after cod and ling! So we went further out to the 5 mile then 9 mile areas of rough ground and wrecks and a few of the bigger fish began to show ling and cod the biggest I had of the day was just over 9lb what won me the sweep on the boat 
had a few other nice ling and cod, all in all nice day out and good banter!
