hi all well headed out to see for me self last night if any maky were around so headed for cambois pier got to the end where two friends and my father was already there but leaving they had been there 4hrs and had 4maky and dropped 2 off so i set up started and about my fourth hoy bang maky first of the year then my mate followed with 1 to, two mre people came along and just as i were leaving he pulled a 1 in to so they definately are there just not in numbers.also caught lots of small coalies sprats and sandeels.

Thanks for the report Davey, was gonna go last night too lol guess ill head up there early next week thn
was on blyth pier on wed nite thro to thurs morn caught a few sprats n seen some other lads catchin coalies too + 1 sandeel

it aint 2 bad m8 once your around the first gate ull then come 2 a second fence but theres a hole cut in it climb throught then just walk along the botton if the sea is flat its fine just keep going till u come to a windmill with ladders going up to the top think its the 2nd from the end wind mill the pier is perfectly fine from then on m8 hope it helps.
