bit of a late report as i didnt get in untill 6 am this morning lol 2 of us set off last night at 10pm to do a bit cliff topping arrived at mark at 10:30 to find water still not high enough up so we headed down the cliff to fish the beach first cast my mate was straight into a nice bass just over 2lb taken on fresh blacks then his next cast he was straight in again but this time he lost it in the surf then it was my turn a cod of 1 1/2lb a nice supprise for a sandy mark by this time the water had moved further up so we decided to fish the cliff BIG mistake lol my mate had 1 cod 1 1/2lb and then that was it supprising how moving a little can put you off the fish next time ill just stay where im catching

not a bad night in all apart from the 30 min walk lol my legs are still hurtin like mad

Seems alot of bass being caught this year, lets hope they get a chance to bread and keep us ticking over with mixed bags of cod and bass in future.

Sea seems very flat at the moment so you picked the right night to fish.
