me and my cuz fished a couple of hours before high tide and a couple of hours after perfect conditions resulted in 4 cod 2 caught in the first hour 1 being just just over 5lb and 1 just over 4 lb then it went quiet for an hour or so then we started getting bites agen catching a futher 2 cod just under 4lb and 5lb all fish came to fresh crab and lug no smaller fish apart from a coalie which was a bit unusuall but not complaining .. and something decent to christen my new rod hehe
