1st bass 5/9/12

had a couple hours fishing with a mate of mine today,2nd cast caught this little fella,about 1lb 8oz,the photo is sh*t,lovely fish,put back to fight another day,was in 2 minds whether to keep it but think it mite just been undersize,the old man keeps houndin me to catch him 1 for the pan,but he get the next 1,had a decent flounder aswell,deep hooked so i just cut my hook off,give it a chance,hopefully it will rust and come out,both fish caught on rag,my mate caught a small plaice and a flounder on rag aswell,canny couple hours and a lovely day to be out fishing,tight lines boys n keep em comin,forgot to mention the freek wave that formed about 20yrds in front of us,sea was quite flat but every 10 mins or so big sets came in,1 of the waves came from nowhere,we just managed to scramble behind a bigger rock out the way of the worst,still took a good splash like,

Am hoping for a good winter lyk Neva hade much luck this summa and a bonus on a 1st bass ;D

cheers lads,i was owa the moon,thought it was a mackerel at 1st,didnt get the famous fierce take,little knock,then it swam in with my bait,
