Looks good mate. I'm due a couple of weeks off so will be stocking up on my cart.

what was the biggest fish in the open mate and not a bad prize for 8th place they cracking reels

9. Prohibition on Use of Edible Crab (Cancer pagurus) for Bait
(1) No person shall use any edible crab (Cancer pagurus) for bait and Section 17(2) of the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Act 1967, which affords a defence to a person charged with an offence under Section 17(1) of that Act, shall not apply within the district.
Thought the use of edibles was against the law???

The way its going, Cart will end up being banned all over as there will suddenly become a shortage of crabs.
I have seen the best baits and the worst and to be honest when the conditions are right just been there with a bait in the right place produces results. I fished a full year on squid once and did no worse then before. I have fished a full year on the rocks and used nothing but mussell and done well whle my mate was using the best crab there were no differences it was tit for tat.
If the conditions are poor then the best bait may help, but casting ability and distance play a big part when the sea is flat.
Anyway well done on having a go and i hope it does give you the results
