Went up to Amble yesterday to launch Wicked Jack - just in the estuary at high water as the sea was fairly lumpy.
Very pleased to say she started up within a couple of attempts and ran perfectly, so had a few short blasts then went back in.

Was great to get on the boat again (even if it was only for 20 minutes!!) can't wait for the season to come.........

Looks like there are already a few fish around also!
 
Nice one Dave. Look forward to reading your catch reports. It's good to know everything is running fine after a long lay off.:)

Never have such truer words been said. My dad and I are desperate to get out fishing again.

The boats great ( now thats tempting fate)

I have a new rod and reel

He has spent a fortune on rigs and 2 stroke.

I even have a pair of wellies that need breaking in. Come on summer smile on Sunderland marina. :)

yea, he loves it down that marina. He talks to all the old fellas and finds something else to change on the boat.

There is a smashing old fella down there on the pontoon, Bobby I think he is called, he has a boat called Ailsa Craig.
