fished again last night, soaked to the bone but we did managed a couple fish, me a 2lb9oz and mr brown 2- 3lb10oz and 2lb

What bait and rig do U use for jarrow? And are you targeting codlings in the river? I was using a size 3 hook and size 1 for the pennel hook on a pulley and don't seem to get much. I know they need to be there to catch them but I'm quite interested in the rigs people use for different areas.

fresh crab/lug, i just use a 3/0 pully rig, hoy it into the tidal flow

How do I spot the tidal flow, been fishing fir years but just trying to get better now?
