20.12.11 - Wooden Jetty

Was going to fish the glass centre tonight but decided to head down to the wooden jetty next to the ferry landing.

Fished it from about 7pm till 11:30.

From the first cast i was kept busy with the rod's knocking all night, only caught 2 whities about 10-15cm.

My last cast was out for about 5 minutes and it started going mad, started to bring it in, was quite heavy, and then i hit a massive snag. Tried to get it out for about 30-45 minutes was gutted when the line snapped thought i had caught my first cod, the rod was doing exacally what my mate had told me it would do when theres one on.

What time yous going chris, might tag along.
Where you planning fishing from aswell, every time i go there i get a super snag pack up and go home in a bad mood like a little boy

Bowt 10.30, think high tide is 2am nd its 5.1m so hoping to bag a coddy! Gt plenty crab ordered aswell probs fish til bout 3ish depending on wether u get many snags nd run out of tissues haha
