20-5-11 Darlin short run out

went out after work today from 3ish till about half 6, only 2 of us on the boat and after watching the weather forcast all week we thought a short run out staying quite local and fishing inshore we would be ok,

as the afternoon progressed the wind eased and the sea settled

we picked up a few codling to 4-5lb,

and then this fellow showed up

so the're here.....ratfish have arrived

Nice one EF. From the pic’s it looks like you had a wet ride out until the wind dropped. You’ve got to make the most of it while you can.

we thought we should stay inshore, but reading paul h's report, we should of went wrecking...... weather forcast sometimes wrong..
