I've been bouncing this idea around for a few years now and I've decided to give it a go next summer. So heres the plan so far.

Fishing will be sal****er, shore lure fishing only.
Registration will be on a Friday night 7-9 in August (date to be confirmed). Fishing from 00:01 untill 23:59 the following day.
Upon registration you will receive a unique id card (to be photographed with all fish caught).
You will only be able to submit three fish of any one species, this should prevent people bagging up on mackerel. All fish that are submitted are to be photographed alongside a tape measure or ruler and your id card. All photos you want to enter are to be emailed to myself or posted on the dedicated NESA post by 02:00 on the Sunday, any entries submitted after that will not be counted.

All photos will be scrutinized to ensure there is no folded tapes or rulers with the first 5cm cut off :-S

Fish must be measured in cm/mm.

£10 entry fee, full cash payout for longest bag

Optional sweeps

Two person team

£5 (per team) two person team, full cash payout for longest bag.

Longest individual fish

£2.5 full cash payout

Boundaries will be open.

NESA members only

If there's anything i haven't covered please let me know

incorporate a simple measuring marker in the id card. would help ?

isomes? gulp? powrbait ? captibait ? ok ?

Good idea, although it would by more of a reference than to actually measure the fish.

Isomes, gulp and the like would all be allowed. Unless someone can convince me otherwise an "artificial bait" is a lure.

Why on earth won't it let you type salt water as one word?? How bizzare!! I mean come on a swear word within a word, weird or what!!
